Mix potatoes, butter, dry seasonings, followed by milk, do not mix smooth
Add cheese and flour, again not until smooth - the lumps help hold your mixture together.
Create hamburger patties and cook to desired doneness, set aside.
Coat waffle iron with a nonstick spray before EACH waffle - this is key as to not separate the waffle when opening the iron.
Scoop 1/4 Cup of potato mixture per waffle (1/2 Cup for the big round waffle irons) allow to sit for 30 seconds before closing the iron lid. This 'sets' your waffle as to not spread too thin.
Cook until outsides are a dark golden brown and crispy.
Cool on a wire rack - this allows air below and above and keeps your creation crispy.
Prepare brown gravy as directed on package.
BUILD YOUR BURGER
Start with a waffle on bottom
Add a meat patty
Add any extra desired ingredients like cheese, veggies, etc.
Drizzle gravy ontop of concoction
Top with another potato waffle
You can even put more gravy ontop of the waffle if you want, its a bit messier but very delicious! I suggest using a fork for this burger - Enjoy!
