Game Day Jalapeno Potato Poppers

Potatoes, jalepenos, bacon and more create this perfect little game day popper with just the right amount of kick for you kick-off.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb baby russets
  • 4oz cream cheese
  • 1 tspn Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tspn garlic salt
  • 1 tspn garlic powder
  • 1/2 tspn onion powder
  • 1/2 tspn red chili powder
  • 1 Tbspn parsley flakes
  • 1/4 Cup crumbled bacon
  • Sliced jalepenos - jar or can
  • Salt & pepper

Directions

Prep: 20 Minutes; Cook: 20 Minutes

  • Wash baby russets
  • Parboil or microwave (10 minutes in glass dish with plate on top) till potatoes are soft.
  • Meanwhile add cream cheese, dry ingredients and 3/4 of your bacon to a bowl and mix well. 
  • Cut potatoes in half length ways and scoop flesh from the halves with a spoon. 
  • Place the halves onto a non-stick cookie sheet and sprinkle generous amount of salt. 
  • Spoon cream cheese mixture into the halves just to the top and spreading flat. 
  • Put 1-2 jalepeno slices on each half.
  • Sprinkle with remaining bacon.
  • Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
  • Let cool 5 minutes, serve, and enjoy!
