Game Day Chili Cheese Poppers
The perfect treat for the big party!
1 lb baby russets
1-2 Cups chili
1/2 Cup shredded cheese
Salt & Pepper to taste
Prep: 20 Minutes; Cook: 15 Minutes
Wash baby russets
Parboil or microwave (10 minutes in glass dish with plate on top) till potatoes are soft.
Cut potatoes in half length ways and scoop flesh from the halves with a spoon.
Place the halves onto a non-stick cookie sheet and sprinkle with a generous amount of salt.
If your chili needs thickened just add some of the scooped out flesh with some salt & pepper.
Fill halves with chili.
Bake 15 minutes till heated through.
Remove from oven and immediately top with cheese.
Allow to cool 5 minutes before serving.
You can make them cute by piping some football stitches on with sour cream.
